Every year, the GSA recognizes volunteers, graduate students, administration staff, supervisors, research assistants and teaching assistants who have gone above and beyond their job descriptions to help and support UCalgary graduate students. Graduate Representative Council Initiative Award

Graduate Student Experience Initiative Award
Recognizes UCalgary graduate students who have demonstrated initiative in improving the graduate student experience. Initiatives may be academic, community-focused, wellness-oriented, or grassroots in nature.
Award Value
• $500 (individual applicants)
• $1,000 (group applicants, shared among eligible graduate students)
