Saturday, June 15 | 8:00 am -6:00 pm (MDT)| Main Campus, Meet at International Student Services (MSC 275)| $15 for 18+/$7.5 children 6 – 17/ FREE children under 6
This event is only open to International students with families. You must purchase tickets for each member of your family. If you only purchase one ticket for yourself and not for your family members as well, it will be cancelled and refunded.
Are you a U of C International graduate student with a family looking for some fun activities in Alberta? Join the GSA and International Student Services for a road trip to Drumheller!
We will stop at the Royal Tyrrell Museum of Paleontology for a nice day trip, followed by a stop to downtown Drumheller and Star Mine Suspension Bridge!
Located in the Alberta Badlands, northwest of Drumheller (about an hour and a half drive from Calgary), the Royal Tyrrell Museum of Paleontology offers some of the world’s largest displays of dinosaurs and other prehistoric fossils along with fun activities suitable for all ages!

Spots are limited, so make sure to reserve your spot early.
$15 gets you transportation to and from Drumheller, as well as admission to the Royal Tyrrell Museum!

7:30 – 8:00 am: Check-in at ISS office
9:45 – 10:00 am: Arrival at Royal Tyrrell Museum
10:00 – 12:45 pm: Museum Visit
12:45 pm: Departure from Royal Tyrrell Museum
1:15 pm: Arrival at Drumheller Riverside Park
1:15 – 3:30 pm: Downtown visit
3:30 pm: Departure from Downtown
3:45 pm: Arrival at Star Mine Suspension Bridge
4:00 pm: Departure from Star Mine Suspension Bridge
5:45 – 6:00 pm: Arrival at University of Calgary
Adult tickets are $15 (18 years and older)
Youth tickets are $7.50 (Children between 6 and 17 years of age)
Children under 6 are FREE. Ticket is still required
Transportation and Museum entrance included. You are responsible for your own food and refreshments.
No refunds will be processed after June 8, 2024.
