Are you curious about political advocacy or find the world of politics daunting and mysterious? Whether you’re a seasoned advocate or just starting out, join us for Pints and Politics!

Spend the afternoon with GSA VP External Hunter Yaworski and GSA Advocacy Advisor Andrew Kemle as they guide you through the essentials of government, post-secondary education, and the GSA’s approach to advocacy. More importantly, we want to hear from you about your advocacy priorities and ideas.

Enjoy a great presentation, join in on meaningful discussions, and share your thoughts—all while sipping on tasty brews and enjoying some delicious snacks.

Itinerary:

  • Presentation: Understanding the three levels of government, post-secondary jurisdiction, and the GSA’s approach to advocacy (30 minutes)
  • Breakout Discussions: Explore key topics in smaller groups (1 hour)
  • Group Conversation: Share takeaways and discuss the GSA’s next steps (30 minutes)

This event is open on a first-come, first-serve basis, with a limit of 2 free drink tickets per attendee.
