We work to ensure fair working conditions, negotiate the collective agreement for graduate student employees, and provide support in navigating employment-related challenges. Collective Agreement (2025 - 2028)
Our collective agreement defines the rights, responsibilities, and working conditions of all academically employed graduate students, as well as the obligations of the employer. Negotiated between the GSA and the University of Calgary, this agreement ensures fair and equitable treatment for all graduate student employees.
The GSA is proud to announce that the new collective agreement with the University of Calgary was ratified with an overwhelming 93% approval, reflecting the strong support of the membership.
