Overview of the GSA Health & Dental Plan

To help University of Calgary graduate students pay for the health services they need, the GSA has partnered with Campus Trust in order to provide students with extended health and dental coverage. The Plan is designed specifically to fill the gaps in provincial care (the Alberta Health Care Insurance Plan - AHCIP).

Transition to Campus Trust

Starting September 1, 2024, the GSA transitioned to Campus Trust for your health and dental insurance. Your coverage will stay the same plus some exciting new benefits including no blackout period, $100 wellness benefit and more!

Please note: If you are a thesis-based student who has completed your coursework but is still working on your thesis, please make sure to initialize your registration to ensure you are enrolled in your Campus Trust health and dental benefits.
