Apply to become Commissioners of the GSA President and VP External

The Commissioner is an active member appointed by a GSA Director to assist such Director with their portfolio duties. Commissioners shall be responsible for duties assigned to them by the Board Member they support.

Commissioner Responsibilities 

• Provide a written report to the Board member they support for each meeting they attend as a delegate. 
• Complete administrative duties assigned by the Board member they support.
• Occasionally attend Board meetings if requested to do so by the Board Member they support.
• Strictly adhere to all GSA policy and procedure with special attention to confidentiality and conflict of interest policy.

Number of Positions Recruiting: 2 (One for the President, and One for the VP External)

Term: May – April   

Time Commitment: 5 – 10 hours per month 

Commissioner Fellowship: Eligible for up to $1,000 per year
