Most of us understand how tough it is in grad school and are part of this team to help others through the tough times. Here’s what we’re up to:

About the Mental Health and Wellness Subcommittee

The GSA Mental Health and Wellness Subcommittee organizes events and workshops to (1) promote mental health and well-being; (2) inform students about available mental health resources and supports; and (3) advocate for mental health on campus.

Student Wellness provides students with free confidential access to a professional counsellor any time, anywhere, via phone or internet.

Staffed by a team of highly trained and qualified professionals who are experts in fields such as well-being, family matters, relationships and much more.

Using Student Wellness

You can always contact an Student Wellness professional—no issue is too big or too small. Though Empower Me counsellors are qualified to support students in crisis, you don’t need to be in crisis in order to take advantage of the service.

You can get support for issues of any kind, including relationships, family care, depression, anxiety, addictions, stress, work conflicts, and much more.
