Academic Events Committee Openings
The Graduate Students’ Association (GSA) is seeking graduate students to serve as Chair and Vice Chair on the Academic Events Committee for the 2026–27 term.
The committee supports graduate students’ academic development through workshops, seminars, networking events, and other academic initiatives.
Chair
10–15 hours per month
Up to $1000 honorarium
Vice Chair
5–10 hours per month
Up to $700 honorarium
Applications must be submitted to hr.gsa@ucalgary.ca by May 15, 2026.

The Graduate Students’ Association (GSA) is now accepting applications for graduate students interested in serving on one of its committees for the 2026–27 term.
Committee participation is a meaningful way to contribute to graduate student governance, support key student services, and help shape initiatives that impact the graduate student community at the University of Calgary.
Applications are open for the following committees:
- Awards Committee
- Finance and Services Committee
- Governance Committee
- Grievances Committee
- Student Experience and Engagement Committee

Faculty Graduate Representatives
The Graduate Students’ Association (GSA) is now accepting applications for Faculty Graduate Representatives for the 2026–27 term.
Faculty Graduate Representatives play an important role in supporting graduate student advocacy and representation across the University of Calgary. Representatives help bring forward faculty-specific concerns, support communication between students and the GSA, and contribute to decision-making processes within their faculty and university committees.
This is an excellent opportunity for graduate students who are passionate about student advocacy, leadership, and strengthening the graduate student experience within their faculty.
