Things to do in Calgary on Canada Day!

Canada is celebrating its 155th birthday this Friday, July 1. The City of Calgary and various attractions in Calgary are putting on fun activities for families, students, and those that are new to Calgary.

Free activities around Calgary for Canada Day:

  • Central Library (11 am – 5 pm): Refreshments, games, film screenings, and crafts (more details)
  • Fort Calgary Indigenous Showcase (11 am – 5 pm): free museum admission, special art installations, Indigenous artisan market, powwow, teaching tipis and trappers tent, film screenings and Canada Day-themed walking tours (more details)
