This introductory course is designed to help Newcomers get a better understanding of how: the banking system works in Canada, the credit rating system works, managing debt, the importance of filing taxes and briefly outlining registered accounts and how they can help you save for you and your children’s future.

Paint Party is back for the spring semester! Harness your inner Monet. The class will be taught by a professional local artist who will guide us through the reproduction of a selected piece of artwork. In this workshop you will be led through the painting process, from mixing colours, to using your creativity to make the piece unique.

What is [GSA]2?

[GSA]2 is the Graduate Students’ Association Gay-Straight Alliance at the University of Calgary. The University, as a whole, operates on the values of respect for diversity and equity.

The mandate is to build an inclusive and welcoming campus community for everyone.

[GSA]2 sets up a safe environment where all graduate students can interact with each other in casual, social settings. Our events include on-campus networking dinners, off-campus mixers, board game nights, sports, and cultural activities.
