What is [GSA]2?[GSA]2 is the Graduate Students’ Association Gay-Straight Alliance at the University of Calgary. The University, as a whole, operates on the values of respect for diversity and equity.
The mandate is to build an inclusive and welcoming campus community for everyone.[GSA]2 sets up a safe environment where all graduate students can interact with each other in casual, social settings. Our events include on-campus networking dinners, off-campus mixers, board game nights, sports, and cultural activities. We welcome suggestions from you as [GSA]2 continues to develop and look forward to having you at our events.
The GSA and Faculty of Graduate Studies are marching in pride with the Calgary Pride Parade and the University of Calgary this year to support the graduate students’ LGTBQ+ community. Make some noise and enjoy the music with us on this special day when we celebrate the diversity and uniqueness of each individual in our community. When you sign up to participate you will receive a special Pride t-shirt from the GSA.
