Congratulations on forming a DGA! In order to receive a $300 Startup Grant, please fill out the information below. If you have any questions, please contact the Governance Coordinator at governance.gsa@ucalgary.ca

Requirements for DGA Start-up Grant:

  • DGAs must have their own name (please make sure to check if your department already has a DGA formed)
  • DGAs must submit their own bylaws and/or constitution and update these as necessary and inform the GSA when updates are made
  • DGAs shall have GRC representation (see DGA Handbook for details on the number of required representatives)
  • DGAs must apply for the Startup Grant by filling out the information below within 3 months of the DGA startup date

    DGA Creation Checklist

    Association Agreement
    This form should be signed by the president of the DGA and another executive.
