NEW - Improving Online Services

The GSA and the Campus Trust, the board that administers the health and dental plan, have moved in a bold new direction to improve its service by allowing students to opt-in and opt-out online.

We are well into the process of improving your health and dental insurance online experience. Check out the Blackout Period Waiver and get access to your account even during registration periods. Not sure if a drug is covered? Check out the prescription drug search feature-click Online Services, and under the Health Plan tab you'll find the search engine on the right side of the page. We are always looking at ways to improve and simplify your student owned insurance plan. Have a concern? Please email our on-site plan administrator at: gsaplan@gsa.ucalgary.ca. The next step in the Campus Trust online service initiative will be an online payment feature which will allow you to pay for dependents, direct deposit for your refund, all online, simply and quickly.  These features will be arriving shortly.

Alberta Health Care

Have no Canadian provincial health care? You'll need it to be able to use the Health and Dental Plan.

• A provincial plan is a requirement for your insurance benefits plan (below) to be active.

Dental Discounts

Grad students can visit any dentist in Canada to receive dental care. However, there are several dentists in Calgary that offer a 20% discount for graduate students on the GSA plan. To view these dentists, click here.
